Why riders choose Full Throttle Earthworks

The experience behind the build.

Built by riders. Shaped by experience.

Full Throttle Earthworks designs and builds motocross tracks around the land they sit on and the riders who will use them. Every layout starts with the ground, not a template.

The lead operator

A rider at the controls.

Adam Thurrowgood, Co-Founder and Lead Operator, has ridden motocross since he was four years old. He has also spent more than two decades operating machinery professionally.

That combination shapes how each track is laid out, shaped and assessed — from the seat of the machine and from the seat of the bike.

Site-specific layouts

Every layout starts with the ground.

No standard templates. Each track is designed around what's already there and who will ride it.

Terrain and space

Natural contours, the space available and the material on site decide where the track sits and how it uses the land.

Drainage

How water moves across the property is considered alongside the layout, to help the track hold up through wet and dry seasons.

Rider levels

Juniors, beginners, adults and experienced riders need different things. Each layout is planned around the people who will actually ride it.

Flow

A good track links naturally from one section to the next. Adam assesses flow from the rider's point of view and, where conditions and scope allow, test-rides before handover.

How it will be used

Weekend family riding, practice, club training or race meetings — how often and how hard a track is ridden shapes the build.

Club projects

Trusted with new builds. Called on for rebuilds.

Two club projects, two different jobs: a new circuit built from scratch, and an existing circuit rebuilt and redesigned.

Existing club circuit rebuild

Mount Isa Motocross Club, Queensland

The club's existing circuit was rebuilt and redesigned for peewee, junior, beginner, adult and experienced riders. The work was completed in August 2026.

The project was featured by The North West Star (opens in a new tab).

Scope and estimate

A clear path from enquiry to estimate

You'll know what's being built and what it involves before anything is booked.
  1. Send us the details

Use the enquiry form to send your location, a Google Maps link, photos or video of the ground, who will ride and what you'd like built.

  2. We review the property

Adam looks at the terrain, space, drainage and access. Some projects need a site visit before scope can be confirmed.

  3. Layout and scope

Eligible projects can receive a complimentary preliminary track layout. You then receive a written scope of works and a build estimate.

  4. You decide

Every estimate is reviewed by Adam and approved by Michelle before it reaches you. There's no obligation to proceed.

FAQ

Common questions

What makes motocross track construction site-specific?

A site-specific track is laid out around the property it's built on — its contours, space, soil and material, drainage and access — and around the riders who will use it. We don't start from a standard layout and fit it to the land. The design follows the ground and the people riding it.

Do you build private, family and club tracks?

Yes. We build private motocross tracks on rural and acreage properties, family tracks for riders of mixed ages and abilities, and club circuits — both new builds and rebuilds of existing tracks.

Can you help with planning or council concept layouts?

For eligible projects we can prepare a preliminary concept layout that can support early council enquiries or a development application, where appropriate. A concept layout is not an approval. Planning and council requirements vary by area, and any layout may need further assessment, engineering, modification or approval before construction. It's worth checking your local council's requirements early.

How do I request a build estimate?

Fill in the Request a Build Estimate form with your location, photos or video of the ground, a Google Maps link and what you'd like built. We'll review the details and get back to you about next steps. Requesting an estimate doesn't commit you to anything.

Tell us about your ground and your riders.

Send your location, some photos or video of the property and what you want to ride. We'll look at how a track could fit your land.
