Flat track construction
Flat Track Builders Australia
Consistent dirt, usable lines and a surface that holds up lap after lap.
What this service covers
Flat track lives or dies on the surface. Getting a consistent, workable surface that drains and keeps its shape matters more than adding features.
We build flat tracks for private practice, clubs and training, sized to the space available and the level of competition intended. Material choice and where the water goes are worked out before any shaping starts.
Because a flat track relies on maintenance to stay good, we talk through how the surface will be looked after — including what machinery or water access you will need — as part of the build.

Our experience and approach
Adam has more than 25 years behind the wheel of heavy vehicles, on the controls of heavy machinery and on the handlebars of bikes. Every layout is drawn by him, around your land rather than around a template.
We work with the ground you have — the slope, the soil and the material already on the property — instead of forcing a layout that fights the country.
Tracks are assessed from the rider's or driver's seat and ridden for flow before they get the Full Throttle sign-off. If a section does not ride the way it should, it gets changed before we leave.
Where a discipline is newer to our books than motocross, we say so plainly. We assess the site and quote on construction we can genuinely deliver, without claiming completed projects we have not built.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can you construct flat tracks?
Yes. We assess and build flat tracks for private practice, clubs and training, with the surface and drainage worked out before shaping starts.
What surface do you use?
That depends on the material available on and near your property. Assessing the soil and what can be sourced locally is part of the quoting process.
How much maintenance does a flat track need?
More than most people expect — the surface is the track. We will talk through what upkeep and water access your setup will need.
Can an existing flat track be reworked?
Yes. Reshaping and surface reworking of an existing oval is often the quickest improvement available.
