The most common question we get after "can you build it?" is "when can you get here?" The honest answer depends less on our diary than on where the gear already is.

The machinery is the constraint

Moving heavy gear across Australia takes days and real money. One build a long way from everything else is expensive for whoever's paying for the run. Two or three builds in the same region shares that cost and gets everyone a better outcome.

That's why the register exists

The Regional Build Register is a map of who wants a build and where. When enough interest builds up in a region, that region moves up the run. It costs nothing to be on it and it's the single best thing you can do if you're not ready to commit yet.

How a region gets prioritised

• How many builds and assessments are waiting within reasonable distance of each other
• Whether there's an anchor job that justifies the move
• Season and ground conditions in that part of the country
• Club calendars, because race prep and rebuilds have to fit around dates

Surrounding areas count

If a stop is confirmed a few hours from you, register anyway. Being near a confirmed stop is the cheapest way to get a build done, and it's often what turns one stop into a longer run through a region.
